5 Psychological Experiments Expose Our Dark Side

From the page: "... the truth is us common folk are just as likely to be hypocrites as the politicians. After all, it's much easier to talk to a room full of people about helping strangers than, say, actually touching a smelly and bleeding homeless man. So even pointing out their hypocrisy becomes a form of hypocrisy."

If there's any other reason why I hate living in suburbia besides it's overall fake attitude and lifestyle, it's those stupid lawnmowers. Just about ever hour of the day, every day of the week, a bunch of gardeners come in to mow our already perfect lawns. Excuse me, almost perfect lawns. God forbid the grass grows longer than two inches.
Not only that, but after they make a hell of a lot of noise, people have to make sure their edges are prefectly straight. Like grass actually grows like that. So of course they to to make additional noise with this spinning blade thing that could pretty much take off anyones head.
And those leaf blowers. Oh my god. The leaf blowers. They sound like a hurricane coming to remove that one leaf stuck in your bushes. And of course, they have to scan the whole lawn with it for any other hiding leaves, driving a person insane, which is why I'm writing about grass.

From the page: "Should we not begin to consider all children, everywhere, as our own? In that case, war, which in our time is always an assault on children, would be unacceptable as a solution to the problems of the world."
